Volunteer with Youth4AM
Youth4AM offers structured volunteer opportunities for motivated high school and college students who want to develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in their community. Volunteers support academic programs, mentor younger students, and collaborate on projects that help expand educational access. Through our leadership pathway, participants can grow from entry-level volunteers to advanced leadership roles, gaining valuable experience in teamwork, communication, and project management.

Volunteer Opportunities
Social Media Assistant
Ongoing HS & CollegeHelp promote Youth4AM programs by creating engaging content and supporting our online presence.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Design graphics or short videos for program promotion
- Share updates about events, programs, and volunteer activities
- Monitor comments and messages on social platforms
- Support outreach to increase awareness of Youth4AM programs
Skills Developed
Teacher Assistant
July – August HS Freshmen & SophomoresTeacher Assistants support instructors and help students succeed in academic programs.
Responsibilities
- Assist instructors during live sessions and manage student attendance
- Tutor students in English Language Arts and/or Math
- Review homework and provide feedback
- Prepare weekly progress reports for parents

TA Leader
July – August HS Sophomores & JuniorsTA Leaders supervise small groups of Teacher Assistants and help coordinate program activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a group of 5–10 Teacher Assistants
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to TAs
- Coordinate group meetings and ensure tasks are completed
- Participate in project teams supporting program operations

TA Manager
July – August HS Juniors & SeniorsTA Managers lead departmental projects and oversee operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a group of 5–10 Teacher Assistants
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Coordinate group meetings and task completion
- Participate in project teams supporting program operations

TA Director
Ongoing HS Seniors & CollegeTA Directors oversee the entire volunteer team and help manage program operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all Teacher Assistants, Leaders, and Managers
